Cuprous oxide as an alternative to copper oxychloride

Copper oxychloride has been added to the FSC HH (Forestry Stewardship Council) (highly hazardous) list and as of June 2016 will no longer be allowed to be used in FSC certified nurseries without a derogation. A derogation is basically a permit to use under certain conditions and one of these conditions is always to investigate non-HH alternatives.
After some communications with the Australians, we have found that cuprous oxide is a viable alternative and it is available in the country.
The company is willing to extend the label if the volumes are sufficient to warrant this.
We know many nurseries use copper oxychloride as a fungicide and / or tray dip.

Cuprous oxide looks like it will be comparable in price and is a softer chemical.
